Run a Twitter Contest with Tweets Win

by Andy Brudtkuhl on May 4, 2009

Tweets Win is a new web service that helps you run a contest on Twitter. Contests on Twitter have become very popular lately as a marketing tool to increase followers and ultimately raise awareness for your user, company, or product. As an example, SmartyPig holds a trivia contest once a month for its followers to win a $100 gift card. The trivia is often about SmartyPig and many times requires a visit to their website for information. As you can see this is a powerful way to organically increase awareness on Twitter and drive traffic to their website – all while building a powerful social community.

Enter Tweets Win – which gives you an interface to an otherwise manual process. Before Tweets Win – holding Twitter contests was a manual process that you had to track and manage. With Tweets Win, you can post a contest, gather statistics, and have the winner automatically chosen.

Twitter contests are a powerful way to gain new followers and increase traffic to your website – and Tweets Win makes the whole process a snap.

Do you know of one that will send a coupon code through a direct message to anyone who retweets a specified message? Please email me if you do! Thanks :)
