Twitter gets a business guy. Up next: business plan?
There seem to be two types of people: Those that talk about Twitter non-stop, and those that talk about Twitter’s lack of a business plan non-stop. Those who fall into the latter category will be happy to know then that Twitter has hired a director of mobile business development, Kevin Thau.
But don’t let the “mobile” in the title fool you, Thau is Twitter’s fist “business development guru” on several fronts, writes co-founder Biz Stone on the Twitter blog today. His job for now will include “assessing all opportunities, picking up ongoing threads, and also actively working on our mobile business strategy,” according to Stone.
