But on a more serious note there is the mentality in the industry (from an outsider&#039;s view) that the idea of linking out is bad when in fact it can be really good. I think the guys at Publish2 are on to it as well and are doing a great job at pushing the envelope.</description>

The Des Moines Register has no problem with linking to elsewhere on the web. None. Zero. Never heard one person here say anything like that.

We certainly haven&#039;t 100 percent put our money where our mouth is on that, but we&#039;re working on that.</description>
