Logging into FeedBurner yesterday in hopes they would have finally added the much anticipated AdSense support I found myself disappointed. You may have noticed recently that Pheedo ads are appearing in this RSS feed. We did this to cover hosting costs only, I assure you. But as an AdSense and FeedBurner user I had hoped this new integration would be for advertising within my RSS feed so I can get rid of Pheedo and have an integrated experience.
Unfortunately this is not the case as FeedBurner launches a confusing advertising platform that is exactly the same as copy and pasting AdSense into an existing webpage. This move makes absolutely no sense other than Google must have told them they need to integrate as soon as possible.
If I were you, I’d stay away from the “monetize” tab in FeedBurner until they figure out that we want AdSense in our RSS feed (something not yet available) not just rehashing an existing service that we already know how to use. Not to mention the service is very buggy and seems not thought out in any way.

First, thank you for your business. We appreciate the opportunity.
To address your integrated advertising concern, you can have an integrated approach with Pheedo. We do on-site and in-feed advertisements. If you contact me off line, I can help you get started.

Bill – Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I am definitely interested in what you have available.
One thing I didn’t note is how good Pheedo really is… That’s a great post for later, especially if I can get an inside look at the full platform.
