Stand Up Meetings

by Andy Brudtkuhl on October 2, 2007

If you’ve ever worked with me you know I loathe meetings, especially with oblivious QA and executives. Lifehack.org says if you can’t kill meetings altogether than try stand up meetings to make them more efficient.

Try it and let me know how it works! Sounds like a great idea to me.

Hahaha. We’ve been doing those for a while. They work great! You’d be amazed at how fast you get done with them!

Amen! Meetings need to happen, but they don’t need to be long, meandering or nonsensical. 80% of meetings are simply crutches for corporate bozo-types to keep themselves feeling important and needed.
