Embed PDF’s with Adobe Share

by Andy Brudtkuhl on October 1, 2007

Not sure if anyone will use this feature as it seems fairly pointless, that is unless you are selling PDF based e-books. But, if you are into embedding things and you’ve been waiting to do so with PDF’s, you are in luck.

One standout feature in Adobe’s Share is that the company provides an embed code for a Flash preview of any document hosted on the service. For the initial launch, the Flash preview only works with PDFs and image files, but Adobe plans to expand the service in the coming months to work with just about any document, including Microsoft Office and ODF files.

Nonetheless, interesting and hopefully usable by you embedophiles ou there.
