How I ended up on Facebook

by Andy Brudtkuhl on September 7, 2007

As many of you know I’m anti-Facebook. Last night, in an effort to play with the Facebook API, I was forced to sign up for an account.

Unfortunately the API is unable to provide me with the user information I thought I could grab. The idea was to allow users to build an aggregator (news river) of their Facebook friends’ websites, blogs, and miscellaneous feeds. Unfortunately this is not the case as Facebook does not expose that information nor do they expose feeds.

Or maybe I am just looking in the wrong place. In any case, I’m now reluctantly a Facebookian (yes i made that word up)
