CSS Off. It is a contest where we provide a photoshop mockup and then we judge and award a prize to whomever gives back the best html version.

I’ve been talking with everyone involved and it sounds like it should be really fun. Thanks to JD Graffam and Tony White for having me on the panel.

A little more about the contest…

To actively engage the web community in web standards with an emphasis on valid, semantic markup
To emphasize good web design as an integral part of the development process
To use the contest as an opportunity to teach

Sounds like a very interesting opportunity for you. I had an opportunity to judge a high school web design contest a while back and it was interesting to see what all the younger generation could come up with. A few in the class were really good, and the others just seemed like they didn’t care much. lol

This seems pretty cool actually, and for a good cause. I’m curious, though, how complex these PSD’s are?
