It’s been another big week for Google with several updates and product launches.
First off, Google Docs officially has “Presentation” support - which is Google’s answer to Powerpoint and the last piece of their “office” suite. I won’t bore you with the details, so check out Compiler’s review.
Google Reader came out of beta and is now an official product with multilingual support fresh of their recent update with new features. This lends itself to the rumors floating around about upcoming Reader features, including Social Network management among others.
Goog411 is out of beta now and has its own webpage, along with an introductory video. If you aren’t familiar with this feature, it’s kind of like the Google SMS Local system they have…
You don’t need a computer, an Internet connection, or even the keypad on your phone or mobile device. GOOG-411 is voice-activated, so you can access it from any phone (mobile or land line), in any location, at any time. For free.
Dial (1-800) GOOG-411. Say where. Say what you’re looking for. GOOG-411 will connect you with the business you choose.
If you are calling from a mobile device, GOOG-411 can even send you a text message with more details and a map. Simply say “Text message” or “Map it.”
Yesterday while surfing the web on my Blackjack I noticed ‘Sponsored Ads’ in a search results. I had heard they were launching a mobile advertising platform and now it appears it’s official. Google AdSense for mobile has officially launched. More on this later…

1GOOG411! I can’t believe I’d forgotten about this. Someone told me about that like six months ago and I’d forgotten. I can’t count the times I would have used a free 411 service (I’m too cheap to pay for one).
