I don’t think it is scary, instead I think that the creator of the video has a very naive view of privacy, on the internet or off.

You can look at this any way you want. We’ve been through the Google privacy debate over and over.

Is facebook using you? probably. it’s up to your discretion as to whether the data they have on you and who is associated with that data to determine what’s scary.

I personally don’t have Facebook so I don’t care.

Yeah this definitely is not scary in my opinion. You choose what information you want to be on there, so it’s up to the user how much information gets revealed.

I think the author of that movie is thinking too much into things. If some government company wanted information about you, they will find it whether you are on Facebook or not.

Agree with Abi and JPhill. What’s the big deal? Information is only shared when you friend someone.
