Microsoft’s recent hire Michael Gartenberg leaves right away. They hired him as the evangelist for Microsoft leading their brand foray in the blogosphere. He was to pick up where Scoble left off.
But after being a tech analyst for years, he decided that’s what he wanted to do - not be an evangelist.
Hey Microsoft - if you hire me for this position I promise I’ll stay. C’mon - I write about you all the time anyway, it’d be nice to be paid for it.

1Microsoft also hired Stephanie Quilao of the Back in Skinny Jeans Blog as an evangelist and she left in 9.5 weeks.

Her commentary on Microsoft’s tools is obvious and yet insightful.

2Interesting. I wonder why they cannot keep evangelists.
Any ideas?
