Best free stock photos around

by tjmapes on September 7, 2006

I’ve been using Stock Xchng for a while now and still absolutley love it. There are many stock photo sites out there that offer royalty-free images for any use, but this one tops them all. All you need to do is make an account and your on your way to high quality pics for no charge. I absolutley recommend going over and signing up, you won’t be disappointed.

*On a side note, this post was posted using the built in blog utility in Flock’s new beta build. I had my doubts but what an awesome browser Flock really ended up being.

Stock Xchng is great but I prefer http://www.morguefile.com (not sure how to put proper links into my replies). I find its better designed with easier to get around navigation.

Plus I seem to find stock images there rather than SXC but bother are very good.

Sorry about the double post but thought I’d just mention that I’ve downloaded Flock right now and so far it seems pretty good right now, I love how it handles RSSs (even more than my LiveBookmarks).

Only thing I’ve found in the 10 minutes of looking around is that it uses the word ‘Favourites’ instead of ‘Bookmarks’. :D

Flock is great. I’ve been cooking up a thorough review over the last month or so of using it non-stop. Stay tuned

Yeah…flock is absolutley amazing…the webclippings and blog tool and flickr etc etc … the only thing is it seems like for my machine at least, it takes a while for pages to load..and there is no animation/indicator like there is in FireFix (in the toolbar, top right corner).

I had my doubts about Flock, Andy knows this…but I am impressed and a user now.
