If you are redesigning a site one of the most important things is header typography. This is another instance in designing for content. In order for people to recognize, read, and absorb content it has to be brought to their attention. When you look at the paper, do you browse looking at headlines to find something you want to read? Yes, most people do. It’s the same on the web. Typography can definitely sell a content or aggregation site. It can also help a user experience with a web app by giving the user a subliminal sense of direction and structure.
