Just released today is a web developer’s and internet marketer’s dream. Finally Google gave us some data we can use for statistical trending. They were probably sitting back and watching Alexa take the cake on comparative web statistical analysis, which is funny becuase nobody uses it to search.

Now, we can really compare search terms. Check it out — here’s a comparison of Asp.Net (blue) vs Ruby On Rails (red) as search terms.

This is an awesome service that will also show you demographic information such as where most of the searches originate from. It will also show you the time frame for which the search is and was most popular. Along with search trend analysis it will also show you a timeline of when the term has been popular in the news. Just go to the site and enter your comparisons separated by comma.

Another excellent tool from Google to be used by millions of people. Now, how about an API?
