Carson Workshops : Recap
May 14, 2006 by tjmapes
Last week I attended a Carson Workshops event hosted by Dave Shea.
It was an amazing opportunity and learning experience. It was an all day event, 8 hours to be exact. During lunch I had time to talk a little with Dave himself and ask him questions. He was a delight to speak with. He was taking questions from basically everyone. And it was funny becuase they were questions like ‘how do I do this…’. Which makes sense to me becuase working with standards brings new obsticles everyday, and sometimes it is tough to grasp things without having them explained to you personally.
They also gave each of us a Carson Workshops Survival Kit with all the slides, sites, links and much more that Dave referenced to throughout the day. I have since taken it home and picked it apart. The resources available on this disc are amazing. You can get a copy from any of the workshops over at Carsonworkshops.com. I highly recommend picking any of them up.
I stayed at the House of Blues hotel and met up with an old pal. Other than that, trip was short but very sweet :)
