Well this is my first post via the flock browser;, since I have finally got it to work with blogger. I have been using flock for awhile but had yet to get this feature to work. So far I like it, and I don’t have to go into blogger. One thing that doesn’t work is pulling the titles down in the topbar. That’s okay, for now. I really like the ‘Drag stuff to blog it!’ bar where you can literally drag a page, article, or photo into the topbar and comment on it within your blog.
There is built in tagging feature (although I’m not sure before posting where they are being tagged). All in all it’s cool. I’ve been wanting to do a full review of flock for awhile, but I don’t think it’s review ready yet, being that they are on a 0.4 developer preview.
Listen to a flock discussion with Amber MacArthur here.
Check out my soon-to-be-redesigned flock news aggregator flockr.
UPDATE: tags go to technorati - about time… I had to hardcode them til now in blogger
UPDATE: flock does not force blogger to publish, so as far as I can tell you still have to go into blogger to update your site, even though the post shows up.
UPDATE: I still had to go into blogger because the formatting was hideous (didn’t work). So, I just don’t see why nothing works with blogger. sIs it a setting? Real close to implementing wordpress. I have it waiting on the server…
technorati tags: flock, web2.0, browser, blogger

1I never got Flock to work with Blogger. Right now I’m stuck using my WordPress blog, as Blogger just bails on the “double checking your dang settings…” step.
Works flawlessly in Wordpress though.

2This is on Linux (Fedora Core 6) by the way…of course I’m prepared for all of my odd problems to be because I’m probably one of the 6 people on planet earth using Flock on FC6.

3Ha that is true. I’d stick with Wordpress though. It’s a much more extensible platform.
